I transferred to the Oak Ridge Post Office in 1989 as a letter carrier and had the privilege of working with Mr Lay. He was a good man on the job and I'm sure he was the same off the job. It was an honor to have known him and worked with him.

Sincere condolences and deepest regrets to the family. Del was our letter carrier in the early 70s in Woodland. He also umpired some of my senior boys softball games. I knew Del from old ARK Lanes days also. May God Bless
