Mr. Arlie Leroy Sands, age 63 of Alcoa, passed away Friday November 4, 2016 at Blount Memorial Hospital in Maryville. He was preceded in death by his parents: Cecil and Susie Sands. And three sisters: Marie Runyan, Mary and Betty Sands. He is survived by his son: Charles Sands. Two brothers: David Sands, Sr. and Jimmy Sands. One sister: Debbie Sands Coward. Four grandchildren: Eliza and Oakley Needham, Abigail Sands and Charles Wesley Sands, Jr. And a host of nieces and nephews.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to help with expenses.
