Barbara Dayton

Mrs. Barbara “Bobbie” Dayton, age 80, of Harriman, passed away December 8, 2025, at Roane Medical Center in Harriman.

Barbara never met a stranger and loved to talk to everyone she came across. She was known for her vibrant spirit, sense of humor, and her infectious laugh that filled every room she was in. Barbara was deeply loved by her family and leaves behind a trail of beautiful memories.

She is preceded in death by her husband: Wilbur ‘Bud’ Dayton.

Son: Edward Lee Roberts.

Grandson: Justin Roberts.

Mother: Syble Roberts.

Brothers: Jr, Jimmy, and Roy Roberts.

Sisters: Vivian Teal, Dinah Roberts, and Linda Roberts.

She is survived by her sisters: Syble & Franklin Hester, Della Murray, Wanda Faye Dagnan, and Kathy & Tai DeBlonk.

Brother: Donny Roberts.

Special great niece: Kendra Cantrell.

Grandkids: Andy Taylor, Becky Wilson, Katie Wilhite & Chris Townsend, and Anthony Darwin.

Great Grandkids: Annabell and Melinda Wilson, Zach and Hannah Wilhite, Cayden Townsend, and Antonio Darwin.

Special nieces/nephews: Barbara Mullins, Lisa Creason, Toby Roberts, and Lisa Roberts and a host of other nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday December 10, 2025, at Davis Funeral Home in Harriman from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 PM with Bro. Jr. York officiating. Graveside will follow in Piney Grove Cemetery.
