Barbara Dayton

Mrs. Barbara “Bobbie” Dayton, age 80, of Harriman, passed away December 8, 2025, at Roane Medical Center in Harriman.

Barbara never met a stranger and loved to talk to everyone she came across. She was known for her vibrant spirit, sense of humor, and her infectious laugh that filled every room she was in. Barbara was deeply loved by her family and leaves behind a trail of beautiful memories.

She is preceded in death by her husband: Wilbur ‘Bud’ Dayton

Son: Edward Lee Roberts

Grandson: Justin Roberts

Mother: Syble Roberts

Brothers: Jr, Jimmy, and Roy Roberts

Sisters: Vivian Teal, Dinah Roberts, and Linda Roberts.

She is survived by her sisters: Syble & Franklin Hester, Della Murray, Wanda Faye Dagnan, and Kathy & Tai DeBlonk

Daughter: Kendra Cantrell

Grandkids: Andy Taylor, Becky Wilson, Katie Wilhite & Chris Townsend, Anthony Darwin

Great Grandkids: Annabell & Melinda Wilson, Zach & Hannah Wilhite, Cayden Townsend, and Antonio Darwin

Special nieces/nephews: Barbara Mullins, Lisa Creason, Toby Roberts, and a host of other nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday December 10, 2025, at Davis Funeral Home in Harriman from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 PM with Bro. Jr. York officiating. Graveside will follow in Piney Grove Cemetery.
