Barney Veo Wright

Mr. Barney V. Wright, age 87, passed away Saturday July 9, 2016 at Harriman Care & Rehab surround by his family. He was a member of South Harriman Baptist Church. He was the owner of Wright's Furniture and in later years Wright's Siding and Guttering. Barney had a love for dogs, especially Little V, and he loved his family and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his wife: Margaret Garrett Wright. Son: James Wright. Brother: Charles Guy "Mann" Wright. Two sisters: Missy Henley and Lois Hixson.

He is survived by his two sons and daughters-in-law: Matthew and Sandi Wright and Timothy and Cindy Wright. Daughter and son-in-law: Pamela and Keith Davidson. Three sisters: Lorellene Whifeild, Una Mae Coffman, and Sherry Schuman. Five grandchildren: Isaac Gardner, Lauren Gardner, Talia Nutting, Erin Potterton and Maggie Wright. Three great grandchildren: Nevaeh, Grant and Garrett. Daughter-in-law: Theresa Wright. Special son: Dirk Gardner.

The family will receive friends Monday July 11, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Davis Funeral Home, Harriman. Funeral services will follow at 8:00 PM with Pastor Josh Head officiating. Graveside services will be Tuesday July 12, 2016 at 11:00 AM in Roane Memorial Gardens in Rockwood.
