Betty Lou Johnson Cannon Butler

November 1, 1945 — January 25, 2026

Harriman

Mrs. Betty "Bet" Lou Butler passed away Sunday January 25, 2026, at home surrounded by her family.

Betty was born in Glenmary and grew up in the Emory Heights area. She later moved to Memphis, where she lived until the death of her husband. Upon returning home, she worked customer service jobs where she enjoyed conversing with the customers. This is where she met her second husband.

Betty was a people person. She enjoyed long conversations on the phone and in person. She was always interested in what was going on in people's lives. She was an avid fan of old westerns, especially Gunsmoke.

In later years she became homebound and relied on social media to keep up with family, friends, and church services. She never forgot an anniversary or birthday.

She will be missed. We look forward to the reunion on the last day maranatha Oh Lord.
