Betty Hamby

Mrs. Betty Jo Hamby, age 86 of the Gobey community, passed away Monday September 22, 2025.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Howard Jones.

Two daughters: Diane Swint and Sherry Phillips.

Her parents: Gurley and Emma Lee Young.

Two brothers: Bailey and Estel Young.

And four grandsons: Stevie and Jereme Howard, and Eric and Wayne Phillips.

She is survived by two daughters: Brenda Williams and Pam Howard.

One son: Gary Jones.

Two grandsons: Mikey Williams and Jesse Joe Howard.

Her sister: Doris Melhorn.

And her niece: Buffy Copeland.

Along with a host of other family, friends, and loved ones.

Family and friends will meet at 2:00 PM Thursday September 25, 2025, in Stephens Cemetery for graveside services.
