Betty Spears

Mrs. Betty Spears Pressley, age 85, of Harriman passed away Wednesday July 16, 2025, at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge. She was a member of Good Ole Gospel Church where she loved to sing and play guitar. Betty worked at Wampler's Farm in Lenoir City for many years and also at Johnson Health Care in Harriman.

She is preceded in death by her 1st husband: George Spears

2nd husband: Jimmy Pressley.

Two sons: Ricky Spears and William Spears.

Daughter: Berry Buxton.

Parents: Avery & Ione Mariea Thompson.

She is survived by her two sons & daughter-in-law: Barney & Tina Spears, Wayne & Diane Spears.

Daughter: Cathy Spears & Charlie Woodby.

Special grandchildren: Lisa & husband Jason Clark, Tasha & husband Timmy Bridges, Jacob York, Joseph Buxton and Cody Talyor.

Along with many other grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

And a host of nieces, nephew and friends.

The family will receive friends Thursday July17, 2025, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Davis Funeral Home in Harriman. Funeral services will follow at 8:00 with Bro. James Pressley officiating. Graveside services will be Friday July 18, 2025, at 11:00 AM in Oak Grove Cemetery in Rockwood.
