Bettyann Weil

Mrs. Bettyann Weil, age 72 of Sunbright, formerly of Palmerton, Pennsylvania, passed away Sunday August 23, 2026, at her home. Bettyann was a great cook who was known for making meals with lots of love and extra butter. Her greatest joys came from being “Nana” and spending time with those she loved. Bettyann cherished the company of her family, grandchildren, and Diesel, her canine companion. She was a selfless person who never hesitated to lend an ear or a hug to anyone who needed. She was the favorite person of many people and will be missed dearly.

She was proceeded in death by one granddaughter: Hailey Weil.

And her parents: Alex and Betty Plessl.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years: Ralph Weil.

One son and daughter-in-law: Mike Weil and Kelsey Fox.

One daughter: Rebecca Weil.

Two brothers: John Plessl, and Alex Plessl, Jr.

Two sisters: Linda Krasnansky, and Nancy Pasternak.

Three grandsons: Matthew Weil and his wife Casie Van Why, Caleb Bauer, and Carter Malone.

And one great granddaughter: Ellie Weil.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to help the family with expenses.
