Bobbie May Canterberry

Mrs. Bobbie Mae Leffew Canterberry, age 82 of Harriman passed away Friday February 26, 2016 at Renaissance Terrace with her family by her side. She was a very loving and selfless mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was always eager to help anyone that needed her, especially friends and family.
Bobbie was a graduate of South Harriman High School in 1952 and previously worked at Chase Drugs for many years. She was an excellent cook and baked an excellent banana pudding and fried chicken.

She was preceded in death by her son: Rusty Canterberry. Parents: Robert and Anna M. Leffew. Brothers: Bill and Gary Leffew. Sister: Patty Leffew. Grandson: Cody Gathings

She is survived by and forever missed by her daughter: Jerri Ingle of Lexington, NC Four brothers: Danny and Steve Leffew also of Lexington, NC, James and Joe Leffew both of Harriman. Three sisters: Betty Harmon of Atlanta, Margie Harmon of Harriman, Joyce Kirk of Knoxville. Three Grandchildren: Matt, Dusti and A.J. of Lexington, NC Six great grandchildren. Aunt: Geogie Ledbetter of Kingston And a host of nieces and nephews.

The family will meet at Emory Heights Cemetery at 2:00 PM Sunday February 27, 2016 for Graveside services with Rev. Wayne Nelson officiating.
