Obituary

Mr. Carson Ladd, age 18 of Kingston, TN, passed away April 30, 2026, at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge. He brought a quiet kind of joy into the world-one that showed itself in his mischievous grin, the light in his eyes, and the simple things he loved most. He found happiness in routines that made others pause and smile, especially his days at school, where he felt a true sense of belonging. But nothing compared to the peace he found on his back porch swing, where he could spend hours content, chocolate milk in hand, moving gently with the breeze. Carson's life, though far too brief, was filled with moments of pure, uncomplicated joy that left a lasting imprint on everyone who knew and loved him.

He is proceeded in death by his uncle: Johnny Mack Ladd.

He is survived by his mother: Sheena Selvidge & Josh Klyce.

Father: Clay Ladd & Lacy Barger.

Three brothers: Brody Ladd, Knox Ladd, and Memphis Klyce.

Stepbrother: Micah Barger.

Stepsister: Sheana Barger.

Grandparents: Greg & Kathy Selvidge and James and Becky Ladd.

Aunts and Uncles: Jeannie Selvidge & Ty Snipes, Ryan & Brandi Selvidge, Joshua Selvidge, and Sara Ladd.

And a host of family and friends.
