Don Taylor

Mr. Don Taylor, age 62 of Harriman, went home to be with the Lord Friday June 25, 2010. Don worked at the Harriman Paper Mill until it closed. He later was employed by Phillips Metals as a truck driver. Don was a member of Riggs Chapel Baptist Church. He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his parents: Bob and Hopie Taylor. Three brothers: Bobbie Jack, Frank and Homer Taylor. One sister: Faye Brooks. His father-in-law and mother-in-law: Charles and Florence Keller. Two brothers-in-law: B.J. Norman and Ellis Patterson. And one sister-in-law: Sandra Raulston Treadway. He is survived by his wife of 40 years: Charlene Keller Taylor. Two sons and daughters-in-law: Mike and Hollie Taylor, Jason Taylor and Samantha Taylor. Six grandchildren: Christopher, Brantley, Bailey and Colten Taylor, Dallas Miles and Riley Humphreys. Four brothers and three sisters-in-law: Gerald and Lana Taylor, Churn and Dorothy Taylor, Tommy and Gina Taylor and Morgan Taylor. One sister: Margaret Patterson. A special sister-in-law: Joann Norman. Sister-in-law: Alice Forrester. Two brothers-in-law: Tom Keller and Carl Brooks. And a host of nieces, nephews, friends and loved ones. The family will receive friends Sunday June 27, 2010 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Davis Funeral Home, Harriman. Funeral services will follow at 8:00 PM with Bro. Glen Leffew officiating. Graveside services will be held Monday afternoon at 2:00 PM in Riggs Chapel Cemetery.
