Ethel Marie (Tipton) Bates

Mrs. Marie Bates, age 72 of Lancing, passed away Wednesday January 27, 2021 at Cumberland Medical Center in  Crossville.

She is preceded in death by her husband: Johnny L. “Sonny” Bates.

Her son: Ray Graham.

And her brother: Ray Tipton.

She is survived by two granddaughters: Casey Brooke Hill and her husband Josh Shepherd, and Ashton Brooke Bates.

Two grandsons: Thomas and Dakota Clevenger.

Three great grandchildren: Jordan and Paisley Shepherd, and Landon King.

Her daughter-in-law: Teresa Graham.

One stepdaughter and son-in-law: Tracy and Thomas Clevenger.

One stepson and daughter-in-law: Toby John and Rhonda Bates.

And her special friend and companion: Johnny McClain.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
