Rockwood

Mrs. Eustine Gillis Humphreys, aged 92 of Rockwood, passed away June 12, 2026, at her home. Eustine had a deep love of her family and extended family and friends. Mom was the Rock in times of Crisis. She and her husband, Charles, enjoyed, with a passion, hosting extended family gatherings at their home. There the families participated in Volleyball, baseball, fishing in the pond, jumping on the trampoline, playing cards and other games. Plus, anything else one might come up with. Eustine enjoyed planting and growing a wide variety of plants in her flower garden. Some of her favorites were multiple types and colors of iris and daylilies. Some of her other passions were working with jigsaw puzzles and watching all the wildlife in her backyard, where she enjoyed watching many species of birds, deer, turkeys and other species. Just recently she enjoyed watching a pregnant Doe, on which later gave birth to two new fawns.
