He was preceded in death by his parents: Robert and Annie Whiley. Three brothers: Donald, Arthur George and Robert Whiley.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years: Loyce Foland Whiley. One daughter and son-in-law: Anna and Jim Garrett. One granddaughter: Jennifer Dawn Johns. Three great grandchildren: Karis Olivia, Selah Rose and Asher Kia Johns. One brother-in-law and two sisters-in-law: James and Mary Christine Hughes and Ella Mae Hughes. And a special friend: James Ball, Sr.
The family will receive friends Wednesday December 10, 2014 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Davis Funeral Home, Harriman. Graveside services will immediately follow in Oak Grove Cemetery in Rockwood with the Roane County Military Memorial Honor Guard providing military honors.
