Hattie Velma Shillings

Mrs. Hattie Shillings, age 93 of Harriman, passed away Wednesday April 3, 2019 at Harriman Care & Rehab.  She was of Baptist faith.  Hattie enjoyed spending time with kids, cooking and family. Everybody loved Aunt Hattie's Hurry Up recipes in the Roane Reader.  In 2017 she became a member of Harriman Care & Rehabs Hall of Fame.
She is preceded in death by her husband: Bronson Shillings.
Three daughters: Shirley Barry, Jean Sexton, Dinett Ray.
four brothers and one sister.
She is survived by Three sons and daughters-in-law: Bobby & Janice Shillings, Danny & Debbie Shillings, and Ricky Shillings.
Two daughters and son-in-law: Donna & Jerry Roberts and Karen Gibson all of Harriman.
Sister: Barbara Mysinger of Greenville, TN
21 grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
And a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
The family will receive friends on Saturday April 6, 2019 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Davis Funeral Home in Harriman.  Funeral services will follow at 7:00 PM with Bro. Josh Kidd officiating.  Graveside services will be Sunday April 7, 2019 at 3:00 PM in Roane Memorial Gardens in Rockwood
