Jimmy Lee Hamby

Mr. Jimmy Lee "Jim-Bo" Hamby, age 50 of Henderson, Kentucky, formerly of Wartburg, passed away Wednesday August 12, 2026, at Select Specialty Hospital in Evansville, Indiana. The family takes great comfort in knowing that Jimmy had accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior. And that he is no longer suffering but is at peace with the Lord.

He was preceded in death by his father: David Hamby.

And his stepfather: Robert "Bob" Phillips.

His daughter: Gabriella Hamby.

His grandparents: Irene Griffith, Lee and Joyce Hamby.

He is survived by his son: Zachary Hamby.

His mother: Kathy Phillips.

Three brothers: David, Brian, and Jacob Hamby.

Four sisters: Melissa Branstetter, Joanna Hamby, Jessica Beveridge, and Emily Hamby.

Three stepsiblings: Robert and David Phillips, and Tina Lancaster.

Along with several nieces, nephews, and a host of other family, friends, and loved ones.

The family will receive friends Saturday August 15, 2026, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Davis Funeral Home, Wartburg. Funeral services will follow at 12:00 pm.
