He is preceded in death by his wife: Pauline Jones Burris. And several brothers and sisters.
He is survived by his brother: Riley Burris. Step-son: Rev Rickey and wife Tammy Nation. And many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Sunday November 20, 2016 from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at Davis Funeral Home, Harriman. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM with Rev. Rickey Nation officiating. Graveside service will follow in the Oliver Springs Cemetery.
