Joyce Armes

Mrs. Joyce Newberry Armes, age 73 of Harriman passed away Saturday August 28, 2010 at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge. She was preceded in death by her parents: Charlie and Mary Adams Newberry. Two Sisters: Hazel Watson and Helen Diden. Three Brothers: Charles, Clyde, and Roy Newberry. One Great Grandson: Jarrod Snider. She is survived by her Husband: Lester Armes. Three Sons and Two Daughters-in-law: Lester Armes, Mike and Cindy Armes, and Bruce and April Armes. Three Daughters and Two Sons-in-law: Karen Armes, Annette and Danny France, and Debbie and Lane King. Four Sisters: Jean Newberry, Sue Goodson, Martha Armes, and June Hamby. Three Brothers: Wayne, Alfred and Jack Newberry. Six Grandchildren: Marc Parker, Rebecca and Briana Armes, Erica and Jenna Ray, and Taylor King. 4 Great-grandchildren: Caleb Ray, Amia and Lily Burger, and Adlisse Ray. The Family will receive friends on Monday August 30, 2010 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Davis Funeral Home, Harriman. Funeral Services will follow at 8:00 PM with Rev. Jimmy Banken officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
