Judith Lynn Long

Mrs. Judy McPeters Long, age 74, of Wartburg passed away Thursday October 15, 2015 at the home of her daughter. She had been battling cancer for 2 years and died peacefully listening to Elvis Presley. Judy was a member of the Wartburg Presbyterian and also attended the Wartburg Nazarene Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Gilbert "Skinner" Long. Son: Tommy Long. Parents: Everett & Mae McPeters. 3 sisters: Annette Nabors Moore, Mary Louise, age 4 and an infant sister Betty Jo.

She is survived by her 2 daughters: Terry (Susan) Long of Murfreesboro and Susan (Jim) Woody of Wartburg. 3 grandchildren: Beth Huskey, Raven Anthony Stewart and Justin Crouch. And many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Sunday October 18, 2015 from 1:00 to 3:00 PM at Davis Funeral Home, Wartburg. Funeral service will follow at 3:00 PM with Bro. Josh Kidd officiating. Interment to follow in Petros Cemetery.
