Karla Jeannette (Keys) Turpin

KARLA JEANETTE KEYS TURPIN of Harriman, TN, went to her heavenly home on Wednesday, November 24, 2021.  She passed away at Parkwest Medical Center in Knoxville, TN following a hard-fought battle with a lingering illness.

Karla was born on February 22, 1961, in East Liverpool, Ohio. A former resident of Chester, WV, she attended Oak Glen High School until she moved to Tennessee in 1976. She was a graduate of Roane County High School and had attended classes at WVU.

She was predeceased by her parents: Carol J. Keener Dailey Keys and James C. Keys.

Survivors include her son: Shayne Keys.

Her daughter: Brandi & husband Ryan Selvidge, both of Harriman.

Seven grandchildren: Haley and Kylee Brackett, Jaycie Stone, Isaiah, Bella, Khloe, and Remi Selvidge.

Two brothers: Marc Dailey and Kevin & wife Laurie Dailey.

Their children: Erica and Dylan.

Karla also leaves behind a host of special nieces and nephews whom she dearly loved as well as many special friends.

Karla was a kind and generous person who never met a stranger and was always ready to help. She will be sorely missed by all who loved her.

Following Karla's final wishes, her body was cremated and a memorial service will be set at a later date.
