Kermit Helton Wright Jr

Mr. Kermit Helton "Hotrod" Wright, Jr., age 59 of Wartburg, passed away Thursday August 27, 2026, at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center in Knoxville. He loved his family and enjoyed fishing.

He is preceded in death by his wife: Mary Landrum Wright.

His father: Kermit Helton Wright, Sr.

His mother: Luvell Beam Smith, and stepfather: James Theodore Smith.

Two sisters and one brother-in-law: Gail Young and Linda and Larry Landrum.

He is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law: Jessy and Bruce Pickett, and Heather Monroe and Greg.

Four grandchildren: Kaden and Konner Monroe and Ameia and Jace Pickett.

Along with a host of nieces, nephews, and other family, friends, and loved ones.

A private memorial will be held at a later date.
