Lawrence Griffith

Mr. Lawrence D. Griffith, age 88 of Harriman, passed away Thursday October 31, 2024, at Roane Medical Center. He retired from H.U.B. and was a 50-year member of Southgate Lodge #569 F&AM in Harriman.

He was preceded in death by his parents: David and Willa Mae Griffith.

Two sisters: Patsy Young and Anna Mae Huckaby.

And his mother and father-in-law: Archie and Gertrude Swint.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years: Judy Swint Griffith.

Two daughters and sons-in-law: Debbie and Russell Miller of Kingston, and Pam and Mark Keenan of Somerset, KY.

Two sons and daughters-in-law: Larry and Lanette Griffith of Harriman, and Terry Joe and Ashley Griffith of Kingston.

Fourteen grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, one great-great grandson, along with a host of nieces, nephews, friends and loved ones.

The family will receive friends Sunday November 3, 2024, from 5:00 to :00 PM at Davis Funeral Home, Wartburg. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 PM with Pastor Buster Armes officiating. Graveside services will be Monday morning at 11:00 am in Elizabeth Cemetery.
