Leslie LaRue

Leslie "Les" Benton LaRue, age 54, of Harriman, TN, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, September 1, 2025.

Les was the husband of Jerrie Kirkpatrick LaRue. They shared 31 years of marriage together and three beautiful daughters. Born in Cleveland, Ohio, he was the son of the late Lawrence LaRue and Sandra Webber LaRue. In 1990, he graduated from Sunbright High School. Les served as the Store Manager at UGO in Harriman and was a longtime manager at Wendy's in Harriman.

Throughout his adult life, Les was a faithful member of Cardiff Baptist Church in Rockwood, TN. He enjoyed the outdoors, spending time with his dogs and granddogs, 80's music, and good TV. Above all else, Les's greatest joy was providing for his family and creating a world of opportunity for his three daughters. He will be remembered as "the hardest working man you would ever meet."

His memory will be cherished by his wife, Jerrie, his daughters, Emily (husband Garrett), Natalie, and Molly, and his mother-in-law, Geri "Nana" Kirkpatrick, along with a host of family and friends.

A receiving of friends will be held at Davis Funeral Home in Harirman, TN, from 6-8 PM on Thursday, September 4, 2025. Funeral service will follow at 8 PM with Rev. Benjie Blakney and Rev. Mathew Cannon officiating. Family and friends will meet at Oak Grove Cemetery in Rockwood, TN, at 11:00 am on Friday, September 5, 2025.

In lieu of flowers, the family would be grateful for any donations to Davis Funeral Home to help with funeral costs.
