Mildred Cardenas

Mrs. Mildred "Popeye" Cardenas, age 75, of Harriman passed away Thursday September 11, 2025, at Signature HealthCARE of Rockwood. She worked at Holiday Inn for many years. Mildred loved living with her nephew Paul & Diane Turpin where she enjoyed taking care of their dogs Buddy and Buffy.

She is preceded in death by her husband: Alfred Cardenas.

Parents: Bill & Emma Schurbert

Brothers: Frank Schurbert, Bill Schurbert, Charles Schubert, Roy Schubert, and Hugh Schubert.

Sisters: Mary Ruth Mullins, Alice Hamilton, Shirley Gibson, and Wilma Turpin.

She is survived by her sons: Anthony Cardenas, Donnie Cardenas, Nicky Cardenas,

and Alfred Cardenas III.

Daughters: Crystal Cardenas and Tonya Cardenas.

Sister: Barbara Byrge.

Many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.

The family and friends will meet Tuesday September 16, 2025, at 11:00 AM in Lawnville Cemetery in Kingston with Bro. Ronnie Turpin officiating.
