Mrs. Pearl "Granny" Jones, age 97 of Harriman, went home to be with the Lord Sunday March 19, 2017 at The Bridge at Rockwood. She was of the Baptist faith. Granny was very kind and loving and she always had a hug for everyone she met. She was preceded in death by her husband: Charlie D. Jones. And her parents: Bud and Dellie Hawn. Three brothers: Archie, Cletus and Dewey Hawn. Four sisters: Nina Pickard, Lillie Marshall, Nellie Spears and Jenny Howard. And one son-in-law: Phillip Ray Frost. She is survived by three sons: George Jones, Charlie Jones, II and Joe Jones. Three daughters: Norma Timmons and Sue Cope. One sister: Betty Lidia. Fifteen grandchildren: Sandy, Tammy, Kim, Mike, Rick, Mike, Charlie, Freda, Tonya, Jake, Rex, Tony, Donna, Joseph, and Mia. Twenty-five great grandchildren and fourteen great-great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Tuesday March 21, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Davis Funeral Home, Harriman. The funeral service will follow at 8:00 PM with Bro. Randy Griffis officiating. Family and friends will meet at 1:00 PM Wednesday in Community Baptist Church Cemetery in Niota for graveside services.
