Ms. Rachelle Lynn Thomas, age 63 of Rockwood, passed away April 14, 2026, at Fort Loudon Medical Center in Lenoir City. She was a vibrant spirit who found joy in the simplest of things-fishing, camping, soaking up the sun by the lake, and immersing herself in nature. Rachelle loved a good challenge too, spending countless hours working on puzzles. Above all, she cherished her time spent with family.

She was preceded in death by her Mother: Patricia Jessie.

Father: O'Ray Jessie.

Niece: Amber Jessie.

Sister-in-law: Jackie Campbell Jessie.

She is survived by her husband: Mark Thomas.

Two sons & daughter-in-law: Eric & Missy Rogers and Jason Rogers.

Daughter & son-in-law: Shannon & Brian Carter.

Brothers: Marvin Ray Jessie and Brian Jessie.

Sister & brother-in-law: Malinda & Jim Perry.

Seven grandchildren: Devon Rogers, Morgan & husband Happy Moore, Kaitlyn Rogers, David Ray Rogers, Syphony Tovar, Tallon Tovar, and Caleb Rogers.

And four great grandchildren.

And a host of other family and friends.

The family will honor Rachelle's wish and have chosen cremation. They will have a Celebration of Life Service at a later date.
