Ruth Lawson

Ms. Ruth Lawson, age 95, of Rockwood passed away Wednesday May 2, 2025, at Turkey Creek Medical Center in Knoxville. She was a member of Rockwood Community Baptist Church. Ruth worked and retired from Burrington Mill in Harriman. She loved to quilt and crochet and cook and spent time with her family.

She is preceded in death by her: James William Lawson

Parents: George & Pearl Baker.

Several siblings.

She is survived by her son: Tim & his wife Nicole Lawson.

Grandson: Cameron & wife Brittney Lawson.

Granddaughter: Megan Lawson.

2 grandchildren

Brother: Billy Baker.

Sister: Jan Lowe.

As well as many nieces, nephews and friends.

The family and friends will meet on Thursday May 8, 2025, in Oak Grove Cemetery at 11:00 AM for graveside services with Pastor Darren Griffis officiating.
