Shirley Ann Ryan

Mrs. Shirley Ryan, age 83, of Wartburg, passed away Tuesday May 12, 2026, at Ft. Sanders Regional Medical Center in Knoxville after a short illness. She was a lifelong resident of Wartburg. Shirley was active in the community and volunteered at The Advantage Center. She loved to cook for anyone and made delicious desserts.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 48 years: Carnet Ryan.

She is survived by daughter & son-in-law: Angie & Kenny Osborne of Wartburg.

Nieces: Kathy Bunch of Oak Ridge and Brenda Kay & Jeff Cate of Harriman.

Nephews: Tim Pennycuff of Birmingham, Alabama and Vernon Lowe of Wartburg.

Sister-in-Law: Mary Ryan of Oliver Springs.

She was also blessed with a lot of sweet friends in her life.

The family and friends will meet Saturday May 16, 2026, in Morgan Memorial Gardens at 11:00 PM for graveside services led by Bro. Matt Ward.
