"For the One We Couldn't Hold"

You walked this world with quiet grace,

A gentle soul, a tender face.

But storms can brew where none can see,

A hidden war fought silently.

You gave your love, you gave your light,

But some hearts break without a fight.

This world was heavy, far too loud-

And still, you tried. We are so proud.

We won't reduce your life to pain,

Or let your memory bear that stain.

You were laughter, art, and sacred song-

You were right here, where you belonged.

We'll speak your name with gentlest breath,

Not marked by shame but love in death.

And though you slipped beyond our view,

Our hearts will always carry you.

If love alone could be your stay,

You'd still be here with us today.

But now we light this flame and say-

We miss you more with every day.
