Rockwood

Mr. Steven Travis Lindsay, age 55, of Rockwood, formally of Oakdale, passed away July 20, 2026, at Roane Medical Center. He was of the Baptist faith. Steven was the kind of man who never met a stranger. He had a way of making people feel like old friends, whether he had known them for years or had just met them. His greatest joy came from spending time with those he loved, sharing stories, laughing together, and simply enjoying life's everyday moments. If there was a pool table nearby, you could usually find Steven around it. He loved camping trips, evenings spent on the porch listening to music and firing up the grill or smoker for family and friends. Steven was always trying to perfect his barbecue and jokingly hoped one day he could cook as well as his good friend, Rick Bowman. Steven took great pride in his work at General Shale. He genuinely loved his job and the people he worked alongside. Steven shared his life with his devoted companion, Debbie Woodall. Together they built a life filled with love, laughter, unwavering support, and countless cherished memories. Steven will be remembered for his generous heart, his quick wit, his willingness to help others, and the way he could make any gathering a little more enjoyable just by being there. His legacy isn't found in the things he owned, but in the friendships, he built, the meals he shared, the laughter he created, and the love he gave so freely.
