Terence Paul Luffman

Mr. Terence "Paul" Luffman, age 77 of Harriman passed away Monday June 14, 2010 at his home after a long, courageous battle with prostate cancer. Born July 7, 1932 to Jim and Emma Wilson Luffman of Roane County. He was a veteran of the US Army and served in the Korean Conflict. Paul was a devoted and loving husband and father. He loved people especially babies and children. Paul was always trying to put a smile on everyone's face by joking and kidding. He was a member of Child's Memorial Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents: Jim and Emma Luffman. Three brothers: Wade, Tom and GP Luffman. One sister: Catherine "Kitty"Luffman. Sister-in-laws: Lorene and Betty Luffman. Brother-in-law: Bill Ed Giles. And nephews: Mike and Tommy Luffman. He is survived by his wife of 54 years: Joyce Underwood Luffman. Two daughters and sons-in-law: Becky & Tom Bevins and Teresa & Chuck Phillips. One brother: Jack Luffman. Sister-in-law: Norma and Beverly Luffman and Betty Giles. Brother-in-law: Bill Underwood Several nieces and nephews and a host of friends. The family will receive friends Thursday June 17, 2010 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Davis Funeral Home, Harriman. Funeral services will follow at 8:00 PM with Rev. Randy Griffis officiating. Graveside services will be held Friday June 18, 2010 at 1:00 PM in Roane Memorial Gardens in Rockwood.
