Walter Lee "Waldo" Hurst

Mr. Walter Lee “Waldo” Hurst, age 62 of Lancing, passed away Saturday January 2, 2021 at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge. He attended the Lancing Presbyterian Church. Waldo was a gifted mechanic who enjoyed working on small engines and antiques, and also working in his garden.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Byessell Lee and Wanda Walker Hurst.

One niece: Sissy Dodson.

And his uncle: Shorty Hurst.

He is survived by his wife: Darlene Knox Hurst.

His daughter: Kathleen Hurst.

His brother: Bobby Hurst and his wife Diane.

A special friend: Trey Newberry.

Along with several nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

Family and friends will meet at 3:00 PM, Tuesday January 5, 2021 at Davis Funeral Home in Wartburg for a memorial service.
