William Norris

Mr. John W. "Bill" Norris, age 86, of Oakdale, passed away Friday June 6, 2025, at Roane Medical Center in Harriman. He was a long-time member of the Church of God of Prophesy in Rockwood. Bill was a man who loved to work and enjoyed fishing.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years: Jane Winters Norris.

His son: Johnny Wayne Norris.

His parents: Clyde and Lola Clark Norris.

One brother: Wilburn Norris.

And one sister: Melanise Ooten.

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law: Ginger and Kevin Human.

Four grandchildren: April Norris, Kevin Norris, Eric Daniel Underwood and his wife Emily, and Hannah Human.

Three great grandchildren: Ethan Norris, Charles Smith, and John Ellis Underwood.

And one brother: Gary Norris.

The family will receive friends Saturday June 14, 2025, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Davis Funeral Home, Wartburg. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm with Pastor Charles Shepherd officiating. Interment will follow in Morgan Memorial Gardens.
