Obituary

Mrs. Nora “Ellen” Williams, age 77, of Harriman passed away Thursday July 21, 2022, at Roane Medical Center. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.  Mrs. Williams retired from Roane State Community Collage after 30 years of work and loved spending time with family and friends.

She was predeceased by her husband: Ralph ‘Pete” Williams.

Her parents: Robert & Bessie Byrd.

Son: Eddie Moore.

Daughter: Anna Marie Byrd.

Brother: Bobby Byrd.

Sister: Lucille Barger.

She is survived by her two daughters & sons-in-law: Debra & Kenny Ivester and Leona & Denny Smith.

Five grandchildren: Shawn & wife Linda Moore, Amber Taylor, Chris Taylor, Amy & husband Jim Neeley, and Brittany Moore.

Eleven great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, friends and loved ones.

The family will receive friends Saturday July 23, 2022, at Davis Funeral Home, Harriman from 12:00 to 2:00 PM. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM with Bro. Tony Boswell officiating.  

Graveside services will follow in Childs Memorial Cemetery.
