Patricia Ann (Margrave) Margrave

Ms. Patricia Ann Margrave , age 74, of Harriman passed away Thursday March 2, 2023, at Renaissance Terrace in Harriman.  She was born January 4, 1949, in Harriman to the late George William Margrave, Jr and Dale P. Margrave.  Patty grew up in Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.  She loved babysitting her siblings and cousins and playing with her nieces and nephews.  Patty always loved taking care of her dogs, horses, cats and birds. She was an avid reader and puzzle wizard. In 1980 she moved to Spring City to work at Watts Bar Nuclear plant for the Blind vending service and in 1990 she moved to Knoxville area working in health care facilities also caring for ladies so they could stay in their homes.  She then moved to Texas until returning to Harriman in late 2019 when her longtime partner Cookee passed away.  In April 2020 her home became Renaissance Terrace Community living Center.

She was preceded in death by her partner: Ina “Cookee” Myers.

Her father: George W. Margrave, Jr. “Bill”

Brother: Richard A. Margrave.

She is survived by her mother: Dale P. Margrave of Harriman.

Two sisters & brothers-in-law: Dee-Dee & Ron Hickman of Richmond, VA, Mary & Chuck Simmons of Harriman, and Brenda Hale of Kingston.

Brothers: Bill Margrave of Harriman and Paul Margrave of Gainseville, GA.

Eight nieces and ten nephews and several cousins.

And many friends and loved ones.

The family will have a memorial service at a later date.
