Shirley Janett (Daughter) Bridges

1970 - 2021

Harriman

Mrs. Shirley Janett Daughtery Bridges, 51, of Harriman went to be with the Lord April 2, 2021 at her home.  Shirley had a loving talent for writhing short stories and poems.  She attended Cardiff Baptist Church and at times Courts of Praise Church. She and I loved the Lord. God joined us in marriage on September 28, 2015. This is what marriage means to me, make sure that he or she loves the Lord and has the Lord united in the marriage. Marriage means being truthful, trusting and committed. It means having a soul-mate, a prayer partner and a faithful, loving Christian husband as a leader. She loved outdoors, fishing, wrestling, cooking and movies.

She is preceded in death by three brothers: Jackie, Ronald, and Charles Daughtery.

She is survived by her loving husband: Marty Bridges.
Son: Joshua Russell.
Daughter: Amy Russell
Mother: Betty Daughtery.
Sister: Sonya & husband Charlie Neal.
Grandson: Jonathan Human.
Niece: Cindy Neal.
And many friends and loved ones.

The family will meet at Mt. Calvary Church Cemetery at 11:00 AM on Friday April 9, 2021.
