Veronica Ann (Hall) Hall

November 20, 1950 — July 22, 2020

Ms. Veronica Ann Hall , affectionately known as Aunt Ann by her nieces and nephews was born at home November 20, 1950 in a Coal Mine Camp in Windrock, Tennessee. She was very proud of being a coal miner’s daughter. She departed this life July 22, 2020 at home in Knoxville, Tennessee.

She enjoyed having fun, always joking around, but don’t cross her. She was tough but tender. She was a member of Emerald Avenue United Methodist Church where Pastor Van Sanks is the Pastor. She was a member of the choir. She attended prayer meeting at Western Heights Baptist Church in Knoxville on Thursday nights. She was a former employee of Rogers Group in Oak Ridge, Tennessee where she operated heavy equipment. She enjoyed working with her flowers, decorating, listening and singing gospel music.

She is preceded in death by her son: Ronnie Hall

Two grandchildren: Kendaria Hall and J-u-nique Hall

Her parents: Sampson (Sam) and Cecil Hall

Two sisters: Charlotte and Virginia Hall

Two brothers: Jack (JB) Brockman and Sampson Hall Jr.

And her devoted friend: David Kaiser

She is survived by one daughter: Valarie Rochelle Britton of Foley, Alabama

Two sons: Donnie (Latisha) Hall of Knoxville, Tennessee and Stacy (Darby) Hall of Mount Juliet, Tennessee.

Eight grandchildren: Veronica Annllel Hall, LaTara Hall, Donnie Hall Jr., DiJon and D’Ron Hall, Jordan Hall, Sydney and Haley Hall and 13 step grandchildren

Four great-grandchildren: Kenjarius Hall, Janayshia Hall, Victor Hall and Nevaeh Rogers

Five sisters: Oneita Moore of Rockwood, Virginia (Glenn) Hickman, Shelia Hall, Sandra Gallaher, and Deborah Hill all of Harriman

And two brothers: Rev. Tony Hall of Knoxville and Terry Hall of Tucson, Arizona

She also Leaves to cherish her memory, devoted grand daughter Kennisha Hodge, devoted niece Pearl Gallaher, Jessica Moore, Talisha Hardy, devoted nephew Orlando Hall, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

The family will meet at Davis Funeral Home in Harriman Friday July 31, 2020 at 12:00 noon.  Rev. Tony Hall and Minister Allen Hickman will be Reading of Scripture and having Prayer.  Visitation will follow in the Chapel of Davis Funeral Home from 12:00 to 2:00 PM.
